Angela Hobbs MUSICRVA Used to be the name of MY MusicRVA page, but today I found it redirecting to this persons brand new page. I have had that "memorable address" from facebook since creating the MusicRVA page 4 years ago or more! EDIT: New info below, read if you are an artist or musician.

BE FOREWARNED, FACEBOOK WILL NOT STAND UP FOR YOU OR YOUR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY IF THERE IS A PROBLEM!!!
This is another reason I try to encourage musicians and artists to stop posting their stuff on facebook and use my site http://musicrva.com to share and promote their stuff, or almost any other site for that matter.
As you already know I reported it to them (as said in the post above), they wrote back and said sorry, I wrote back and said oh yes you can, and even sent them WHO IS info to prove it is my name, and they said they can not do anything, and don't see how it will effect my own page, or is an infrigement of my name.
At least one friend that I know of has already been directed and confused by this.
And I don't know how it happened, cause yesterday it was fine, but today Stephen noticed the page looked different, and when he pulled down the setting icon, it had a place that asked DO YOU KNOW THE ADMIN OF THIS PAGE, and he put my name there, and it popped up a box that said, I will let her know and see if she wants to claim this page!!!! WHAT!!!!
Please go to my actual MusicRVA facebook page and look to see if you see that too. If you do, please type my name Angela Hobbs there, and send again. This is bloody rediculous!

I would appreciate anyone who reads this to help me out here. You may have to like the page first, but hey, I would LIKE that!

| I am pretty sure the person who signed up today as MUSICRVA1 and left porn links under this thread is a person named Tricia or Patricia. A search on some of the things that have gone on lately have brought up a female living in the Richmond area by the above name (last name left off on purpose, but starts with a T) and if it was not the person I researched, then it was someone posting for her.
And you called me unprofessional! I know where you live now, as well as your phone # and more, and I WILL be watching you TT!
I have also changed the user name to TriciaT and have recorded and reported the users IP. |
